it is totally illegal for them to come into your house without "reasonable notice." only since they are showing the house to prospective tennants can they come in so frequently, but still, they must give you at least 24 hours notice. and if they are not showing the house, not fixing something you've asked them to fix, or not there for an emergency repair, it is totally illegal (not to mention rude and disrepectful) for them to enter your home like that. yes, they own it, but you pay rent and that entitles you to privacy. seriously!!!

WTF -- that would piss me off. We put a clause in our lease that said our landlords have to give 24 hour notice before coming over. You should jsut say something to them like, "I hate to be a bother but it would probably work best for both of us if you could call before your visits. That way I can contain the dogs and straighten up beforehand."

Pardon me, but that is just ill-mannered.
'
If they are showing the apartment, they should Definitely call first. But regardless, this is just plain rude.

Awww! That is horrible, isn't it written in your lease to call first?! I am sorry you are sick, hope you feel better...the stress is catching up to you! Your new house is amazing and looking forward to seeing you next week! Feel better!
